Effective constellation work starts in the chair. I've been training in this field now for more than two decades. I worked with and was trained by Bert and all the top German facilitators. All of these experts knew family systems well and recognized the usual attempts families make to solve common problems that ensnare family members for generations. There is a body of knowledge that animates effective practice in this field. The forms – workshops, mats, objects, etc. – are not the work. Once you truly grasp the essence of the work (and it takes a while and some effort to do so), you can "do constellations" any way you like, including in the chair without a rep in sight. If you are facilitating constellation work, whether using reps in a workshop format, or in zoom conferences or in one-with-one sessions, this course will boost your effectiveness and confidence as a facilitator.
