FREE WEBINAR: Somatic Stories - Listening to the Body's Voice

Our language misleads us into thinking that body and mind or body and brain are separate. This is not the case, however, our stories do not capture the complexity of what our somatic self knows about our place in systems. Learning to work with the signals that come from gesture, facial expression, breathing, prosody, etc. will greatly deepen your work with clients. Because we experience life in relationship, the stories our bodies tell are relational, and this is often missed. This webinar will give you a framework to explore the stories the body knows but cannot always tell.

What is the "voice" of the body? To say the body "speaks" is a curious expression. Your body isn't separate from your mind or the environment, so your body is an expression of you in relation to your world.

Yet the body and mind do seem to "speak" in different languages. The physical self expresses through movement, gesture, touch, sensation - internal and externally sourced. Unfortunately, the mind understands words and images. How can they communicate? What is your or your client's body saying? Join us for this free webinar to learn to listen to the body's unique voice.
